Split any text into its spectrum.

Paste a report, an essay or a transcript. Prism pulls out the sentences that carry it, the words it keeps returning to, how hard it is to read and how its tone moves.

Six readings from one pass over your text.

        Summary

Finds the sentences that best represent the whole text by comparing every sentence with every other one, then keeps them in their original order.

        Keywords and phrases

Scores words by how often they appear here and how unevenly they are spread, and joins neighbouring words into phrases.

        Readability

Estimates the Flesch reading ease and grade level from sentence length and syllables per word.

        Tone timeline

Checks each sentence against a list of positive and negative words, noticing simple negations like “not good”.

        Names and places

Collects capitalised names that appear mid-sentence, such as people, streets and organisations, and counts them.

        Idea map

Draws the top terms as a network, linked when they share a sentence, so you can see which themes are tied together.

        How it works

Private by design. Nothing is uploaded.

Every reading is calculated by this page, on your device. Close the tab and the text is gone.

        1. SplitThe text is broken into sentences and words, with common abbreviations kept intact.
        2. WeighCommon words like “the” are set aside, and the rest are scored by frequency and spread.
        3. RankSentences are compared by shared words and ranked by how central they are to the text.
        4. DrawResults update a moment after you stop typing, and the map settles itself into place.
